Helping to Grieve A Loss

In sympathy, an awkward silence may be the best thing you can do. Simply being there to share the feelings without judgment or “war stories” of losses you’ve suffered communicates so much more. The awkwardness you feel never really goes away. But what is awkward to the sympathetic heart is life-giving nourishment to the grieving soul.
