For so long, we trusted the press to be champions of truth and guardians against an oppressive government. But now it turns out that their party affiliation matters a lot more because it affects their world view so much, and their world view skews the news.
It’s so hard to think for yourself these days because as a society, we’ve been lulled into a sense of security and trust for specific news organizations, reporters, and even news anchors. And that very fact is what is going to make our collective awakening so painful.
