What The 2d Amendment Is Really About

I know some folks reading this post are going to be turned off by it. But I challenge you to watch the whole video and ask yourself, “What if it had been me? What if I were there … in that situation?”

Because every so often, someone comes along with a position so clear and unambiguous, that it’s hard to mount any kind of rebuttal. What I like about this video is that it succinctly sums up why I think the 2d Amendment to the Constitution is so vital to American freedom.

The first rule of self-determination and self-preservation is that one must have the capability and willingness for self-defense. Because defenseless people are easily rounded up, imprisoned, and even in the 20th century, too often exterminated.

And just so you know, if it were you and I caught in that diner, I’ll be easy to recognize. Because I’ll be the one defending both our lives.
